My Experience

Academic - My education includes a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Arizona and an M.A. in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of San Diego, and coursework for a PhD in East-West Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. My theoretical training is in system theories. A systems focus simply means a focus on relationship, the interconnections in one's life. This could mean connection with one’s inner self or improving relationships with family, friends, intimates, and co-workers. It is my belief that relationship is at the core of all healing.

Professional - My experience includes: being a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for over 20 years, an undergraduate and graduate professor, Clinical Director of a community focused agency, President of the Nevada Association of Marriage and Family Therapists, having my National Guild of Hypnotists certification, tarot reader with over a decade of experience reading for others, and energy worker. 

Spiritual - Ordained through the Universal Life Church, creating ritual or ceremony, spiritual counseling for whatever practice you choose.  

Energy work - Trained as a Level 2 Reiki Master in 2001 my experience has evolved to include techniques from many practices of energy healing.  

Shamanic - Journeywork, work with Shamanic Therapist, experience with psychopomp, dreamwork, soul retrieval, house clearing, space blessing, teaching journey practices.
